Immediate Flower Delivery: How to Get a Bouquet There Fast
If you need flowers delivered immediately, choose express delivery: in large Russian cities our courier brings the bouquet 1-2 hours after your order is confirmed. You pick a bouquet in the Bouquets catalogue, enter the address and card text, pay online, and the clock starts once the order is confirmed.
Immediate delivery works best when you prepare a few details in advance, and a florist's eye helps you choose a bouquet that looks its best even when ordered at the last minute. Here is what really speeds things up, what can slow them down, and how to make a rushed gift feel anything but rushed.
How express delivery works
Express delivery is available in large cities and means the bouquet reaches the recipient within 1-2 hours after the order is confirmed. Confirmation is the important word: the timer does not start when you press the button, but when the order and the address have been checked. A complete, accurate order is confirmed fastest.
If you do not need the flowers right now but at a particular moment, you have other options. You can choose an exact time with an accuracy of about 30 minutes, pick a window (09-12, 12-15, 15-18 or 18-21), or pre-order 1-30 days ahead. For a birthday morning or an anniversary dinner, an exact time is often better than express: the bouquet arrives when it matters, not simply as soon as possible.
City delivery costs 500 RUB. For remote districts and suburbs, the operator confirms the price when confirming the order, so if the address is outside the city centre, expect a short check before the courier sets off.
Five details that make an urgent order faster
First, the full address: street, building, entrance, floor and flat number. In Russian apartment blocks the entrance number and the intercom code save the courier a lot of time. If you know the code, add it to the order comment.
Second, the recipient's phone number. The courier calls about 15 minutes before arriving, which gives the recipient time to come down or open the door. A missing or wrong number is the most common reason a fast delivery turns into a slow one.
Third, the card text, written before you start the order. A card with your message is free, and having the words ready means you will not hesitate at the last step. Fourth, a payment method that works for you: bank card, SBP or Yandex Pay. Fifth, if anything is unclear, ask our manager on WhatsApp rather than guessing; the manager can agree the address, time and card text with you and send a photo of the bouquet before delivery.

Choosing a bouquet when time is short
When you order at the last minute, pick a bouquet that is easy to love at first sight. Roses, chrysanthemums, alstroemeria and eustoma open well, stay fresh for a long time and look generous without being fussy. They suit almost every occasion, from an apology to a congratulation.
Think about the colour rather than spending ages on the variety. Red says love and passion, pink is tender and works for mothers, sisters and friends, white is calm and elegant, yellow and orange are cheerful. A mixed pastel bouquet is the safest choice when you do not know the recipient's taste well.
Avoid choosing something very delicate for a hot day or a long trip across a big city. Peonies and hydrangeas are beautiful but sensitive to heat and dry air; roses and chrysanthemums are much more forgiving. If you are not sure, a quick message to the manager will help.
Size matters less than you might think. A medium bouquet that is fresh, well balanced and wrapped neatly makes a stronger impression than an oversized one chosen in a hurry, and it is easier for the recipient to carry, put in a vase and enjoy.
Ordering immediate delivery from abroad
Many of our customers live outside Russia and order for parents, grandparents or friends at home. The process is the same as for anyone in Russia: you choose a bouquet on the site, enter the Russian address and the recipient's phone, and pay online by bank card, SBP or Yandex Pay.
Keep the time difference in mind. If you live in Western Europe, Moscow is one to two hours ahead of you; in North America the difference is seven hours or more. An express order placed late in your evening may land close to midnight in Russia, so for older relatives an exact daytime slot is kinder than an instant delivery.
Delivery is anonymous by default: the courier does not name the sender. If you want your mother to know the flowers are from you, sign the card; if you want her to guess, leave a hint instead of a name. Either way, the recipient gets a personal message in your words.
When immediate flowers are the right gesture
Some occasions simply cannot wait. A forgotten anniversary, a colleague's sudden promotion, a friend who has just received good news, a relative coming home from hospital: in each case, flowers that arrive the same afternoon say more than a beautiful bouquet that comes two days later.
Match the bouquet to the moment. For an apology, choose something soft and sincere, such as pink or cream roses, rather than a huge showpiece. For congratulations, go bright: orange, yellow and mixed colours feel festive. For a hospital discharge or a get-well wish, pick a compact bouquet with a light scent so it does not overwhelm a small room.
For condolences, calm white and pale tones are appropriate, and the card should be brief and gentle. In this situation speed matters less than tact, so an exact time window agreed with the family may be better than express delivery.
What happens if the recipient is not at home
Urgent gifts sometimes catch people out: the recipient has stepped out to the shop or is still at work. When the courier calls about 15 minutes before arrival and the recipient is away, we agree a second delivery the same day, or, with your consent, hand the bouquet to a neighbour or a concierge.
To avoid this, think about where the person will be in the next couple of hours. If they are at the office, send the flowers there: add the company name, floor and office number. Office deliveries are often the fastest, because there is almost always someone to accept the bouquet.
If the delivery is a surprise and you cannot ask the recipient directly, a friend or family member can help: tell them roughly when the courier will arrive and ask them to make sure the door is answered.
Keeping a last-minute bouquet fresh
A fast delivery does not mean a short life. Once the bouquet arrives, trim the stems by 1-2 cm at an angle, remove the leaves that would stand in water and place the flowers in a clean vase with cool water. Change the water every day or two and trim the stems again each time.
Keep the vase away from radiators, direct sun and the fruit bowl; ripening fruit releases ethylene, which ages flowers quickly. With this simple care, roses and chrysanthemums usually last a week or longer. Our Delivery and payment page has all the practical details on ordering, delivery and payment.
